Text Box: Brenda Carolina Duque Martinez       Brenda came to the Good Shepherd Children’s Home on March 19, 2001 along with her older brother Bryan and younger sister Mabel. She was born November 14, 1995.           Brenda is a very sweet and loving child with above average intelligence. She loves all the attention she gets.           Their parents abandoned Brenda, along with 5 other siblings. Their grandmother took the oldest boy to help her but would not take responsibility for the others. Two of them disappeared before authorities could rescue them.           Although this is a sad story the children are now so happy. Brenda and her sibling’s are receiving God’s love and learning more about Him. They are safe in a home where they have what little children need and deserve--love and protection.         Brenda needs your help, not only in prayer but also financially.
