Text Box:  Carlos Arturo Sanchez       Carlos came to live at the GSCH April 16, 1999.  He was born January 23, 1997.  Carlos is a very sweet child who is very quiet. He obeys very well and seldom gives us any problems.       Before coming to the GSCH, Carlos was being taken care of by a foster mother for a year. By listening to her and watching him we could see that she spoiled him to a point that he still acted like an infant. He was very afraid of the other children and was always so sad. He could not feed himself and did not know how to play. He would just sit for hours doing nothing. This soon changed as he learned to become more independent.       After Carlos was born his birth mother did not want to take care of him. She had six other children, all of whom she gave away to strangers. She brought him to an aunt who tried to raise him. After about a year she realized that she could no longer care for him. She had 15 other children to care for and was very poor. Because she had to work to provide for this large family, she had another lady come in to care for all 16 children. This woman was incapable of properly caring for Carlos due to the fact that she was mentally unstable.        Carlos needs your help not only in prayer but also financially.
