Text Box:  Carlos Fernando Alvarez       Fernando is a precious little boy who came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home February 8, 2001 along with his older sisters Katherine and Haylin. Fernando was born April 24, 2000. He is affectionate and loves all the attention he gets from everyone.       Fernando’s mother is very poor and unable to provide for her children. She lives with the people she works for and receives only room and meals. When she became pregnant with Fernando she was no longer allowed to live with her children in this home. Fernando has spent only a month or so out of his young life with his mother.       Before placing Fernando with us he and his sisters lived with relatives but she found out that they were being abused.       Fernando needs your help not only in prayer but also financially. God has placed him with us so that he can have a full and meaningful life. Here he will have the opportunity to have a good education and all the basics of life.
