Text Box: Carlos Humberto Cano  Carlos (Carlito) came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home January 2, 2000. He lives here with his two older sisters Maria and Karina. Carlito was born February 7, 1997. Carlos is a quite little  boy. He is always busy getting into things or playing in the dirt. He plays well with the other children. He is very affectionate and always wants to give hugs, but only when he is the dirtiest. Anything he does, which involves dirt, makes him the happiest.       Carlito comes from a very poor family and he has about 3 other siblings who are either living with other families or grown and on their own. Carlito's parents are severe alcoholics and very poor. His home had dirt floors and the walls and roof were made of wood, sticks and cardboard. They had no electricity, running water or bathroom facilities.  Not even an outhouse.       Carlito was born with cleft lip and pallet.  He has had corrective surgery and is now in speech therapy and doing very well       Carlito needs your help, not only in prayer but also financially. For only $25 per month, you can help supply the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care he needs.
