Text Box: Denis Joel CarcamoElvir

Denis came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in September of 2002. He lives here with his older brother Rene and younger sisters Ruth and Yolanda. Denis was born April 20, 1993.
Denis comes from a home, which was destroyed by domestic violence and abuse. Denis and his siblings often had to dig in the garbage looking for something to eat due to living in severe poverty. He lived in a very run down shack, which did not have electricity, running water or bathroom facilities. There was only one bed with a very filthy and deteriorated mattress. When the children were found they had been living with their mother who had run away with the children because of the abuse of the father.
Denis and his siblings where taken into protective custody and were in a state of mal-nourishment. They have recovered well and hold a promising future here at the GSCH.
Denis still needs your help not only in prayer but also financially. For just $25 per month you can help him continue to recover and no longer look for his next meal in a garbage dump. This money will help to supply the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care he needs.
Can Denis count on you to help provide the necessities for him to have a good and meaningful life?
