Text Box: Gabriela Isabel Chavez Sauceda
Gabriela came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home along with her older sister Jissel on April 6, 2004. She was born Octuber 9, 1996.
Gabriela lost her mother and father in a car accident in 2002. Her older brother was helping out the younger siblings but was not able to give them the care they needed.
Gabriela’s sister contacted authorities asking for them to help her and Gabriela, the two youngest siblings.  After investigating the situation they agreed the girls were in a potentially dangerous situation and took them into protective custody.
They arrived at the GSCH unsure of their future. Papi Greg and Mama Eva assured them that their future was in God’s hands and they did not arrive by accident.
Gabriela had a great life with her parents but in one quick moment they were no longer there to care for her. She grieves for them but knows they are in Heaven. Their death has turned her life upside down but God will comfort her and help her to grow.
