Text Box: Ilsi Estefany Hernandez
Ilsi came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in February of 2000. She was born August 20, 1994. Ilsi lives here with her older uncle Juan Carlos. Ilsi is a sweet little girl who is so prissy and dainty. She loves to laugh and talk. She is very smart and has a wonderful imagination.
Ilsi's mother is a drug-addict. She works earning money in an immoral way. She is very unfit to take care of her. Her grandmother, who was terminally ill, was caring for Ilsi and Juan Carlos. Ilsi was just two years old when her grandmother took her to Child Social Services (Ihnfa). She knew she was dying and no one else in the family wanted the responsibility of her or her young uncle. During the 3 years she was in the care of Ihnfa and no one ever visited her or Juan Carlos. We are very happy that God brought these children to this home. They are learning more about Jesus and now Ilsi and her uncle are both Christians and really growing in the Lord.
Ilsi still needs your help not only in prayer but also in financial support. For only $25 per month you can help supply the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental are she needs. Can Ilsi count on you to help provide the necessities for her to have a happy and meaningful life?
