Jennifer Alejandra Padilla

Alejandra came to the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in August of 2001. She was born January 1, 1997.
Alejandra is a very shy little girl. She shows classic signs of a child who has been abused, as do almost all of our children when they first come here. Alejandra has a very sweet nature. She begins to come out of her shell a bit if she is given a little attention and begins to trust you. She very seldom causes any problems and is a joy to have around.
The life that Alejandra lived before coming here was a very sad one. She was, being raised by her mother, a woman who is mentally insane. She would beat Alejandra severely and then leave her locked up in the house alone while she went out. No one in the family has the ability to care for Alejandra, nor do they want to deal with her mother.
Here at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home Alejandra is receiving the love she so desperately wants and needs. But she still needs your help, not only in prayer, but also in financial support. For just $25 per month, you can help provide the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care she needs. Can Alejandra count on you to help provide the necessities for her to have a happy and meaningful life?
