Text Box: Jorge Rogelio Cruz

Jorge came to the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in January of 2002. He was born October 8, 1998. He lives here with his younger sister Sarahi.
Not much is known about Jorge except that he and his sister lived with their mother since their father was not willing to be a part of their lives. His mother is a victim of the aids virus. Jorge and his sister have been tested a couple of times and their results are always negative.
When Jorge and his sister arrived at the GSCH it became obvious that they both had suffered from physical abuse. Movements such as reaching in front of them or reaching out to hug them caused them to throw up their hands and duck their head down to protect themselves. Now, after only a short time, they have overcome this fear and come to accept being loved with open arms. Both he and his sister love to receive the love that is so freely given here at the GSCH.
Jorge and Sarahi are very close. To see them together is so precious as they often walk hand in hand.
Jorge still needs your help not only in prayer but also in financial support. For just $25 per month, you can help provide the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care he needs. Can Jorge depend on you to help provide the necessities for him to have a happy and meaningful life?
