Text Box:   Katherin Michell Ponce Bonilla         Michell came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home August 17, 2001. She was born August 6, 1998.  She lives here with her younger sister Yolany and little brother, Kevin.       Michell’s mother is very poor and doesn’t have a home to live in where she can care for her two daughters. Michell also has a baby brother who still lives with her mother. Michell’s mother used to earn her living in a very immoral way but is now a Christian and is looking for moral employment. She loves her children but doesn’t earn enough to care for them       When Michell first came here we realized she was a very smart little girl with a very colorful vocabulary. She could cuss like a sailor and it took some time for her to learn that these words were not acceptable here. She and her sister, who also cussed, would scream words back and forth to each other and then start laughing. Now it is incredible how well they are doing. They have not cussed for some time and have learned that God is not happy when they use ugly language.       Michell is such a sweet little girl with the biggest brown eyes. She is a little shy but is starting to come out more. She is a happy child and loves to play with baby dolls. She is very active and loves to play dress up with her friends. She is now in school and doing very well.       Michell still needs your help not only in prayer but also in financial support.
