Text Box: Lester Albani Palacios
Lester came to the GSCH February 12, 1999. He was born December 24, 1994. He lives here with his younger sister Nicol.
Lester is such an outgoing and happy child. He laughs all the time and is a leader among the other children. When Lester and his sister first came here they both had such tempers and would scream and cuss something horrible. They had terrible habits due to not being taught better.  They had so much anger inside and lashed out against the other children and us.  After a time of discipline and living in a home that showed God's love they began to also show His love.
Lester’s mother left home when she was 15 years old and came home throughout the years only to have her babies and leave again. After having Lester, she left when he was only 8 days old.  Lester's mother has a very immoral occupation and lives as a vagrant on the streets of the city.
Lester and his sister were living with their grandmother, several aunts and uncles and quite a few of their cousins. All of them lived in a 3-room run-down shack.  According to Child Welfare the conditions of the home were like living in a trash dump.  There was no running water or bathroom.  The aunts and all their children slept on a platform while the uncles all slept on the dirt floor. Lester and his sister would sleep with their grandmother on a blanket on the cold dirt floor. This blanket was also used to gather trash throughout the day.
Lester still needs your help not only in prayer but also in financial support. For just $25 per month, you can help supply the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care he needs. Can Lester count on you to help provide the necessities for him to have a happy and meaningful life?
