Text Box: Milagro Yaquelin Flores Valle
Milagro came to live at the Good Shepherd Children's Home on July 9, 2001. She was born June 27, 1993.
Milagro (which means miracle) is a very active little girl. She is so kind and always happy. She loves to joke and play and sometimes gets so tickled over everything. She is very affectionate and loves to receive attention. She is now in school and doing very well.
Milagro's mother earned her living in a very immoral way. She is also an alcoholic.  Three days after Milagro was born her mother gave her away to another woman she knew who is a practicing witch.  Milagro's adoptive mother owns a little bar and is very irresponsible.  When the sister of the adoptive mother saw the state Milagro was in she took her to Child Social Services. Milagro was suffering from  child  mistreatment, severe bruises from beatings and chronic malnutrition.
When Milagro arrived at the GSCH she had bandages on her feet. Her adoptive mother told the authorities that she spilled hot soup on them. They did not believe her due to the extent of the 3rd degree burns.  Milagro told them that her adoptive mother placed paper all around her feet and set them on fire during a ritual.
God is doing a wonderful work in Milagro. She is growing in the Lord and learning of His love for her.
Milagro still needs your help not only in prayer but also in financial support. For just $25 per month, you can help supply the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care she needs. Can Milagro count on you to help provide the necessities for her to have a happy and meaningful life?
