Text Box: Oliveth Rumaly Flores

Olvibeth came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in August of 2002. She was born April 26, 2002. She is a precious baby who has captured the heart of everyone here.
Oliveth’s mother brought her here because she could no longer care for her. Olvibeth was so badly mal-nourished and looked more like a 2 month old. Her little tummy was swollen and her little legs were so thin. Her diet before arriving often consisted of bottles filled with water. She was slowly dying each day. When she came to us she was too weak to even cry.
After just a week at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home Olvibeth began to show signs of improvement. She now laughs and coos like a little baby should. Anything coming near her that resembles food gets chewed on. The signs of life have returned to her eyes. The food she is receiving is helping her regain her strength. She is finally catching up to what babies at her age should be doing.
Oliveth still needs your help not only in prayer but also in financial support. For just $25 per month, you can help provide the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care she needs. Can Olvibeth count on you to help provide the necessities for her to have a happy and meaningful life?
