Text Box:   Roberto Williams Leiva        Little Roberto came to the Good Shepherd Children’s Home May, 2004. He has no birth date but is between a year to two years old. He lives here with his older sister Tania.         Little Roberto was found at age 6 months, in state of second-degree mal-nutrition, with no clothing, and had not even been given a name.        While he is recovering well from the abuse of not being fed he has much deeper rooted problems. When one holds him it is obvious that he was abused as he grabs onto you with all his strength, like a child that has been thrown around. Once in your arms he continues to hold on with all his strength reminding one of a scared little kitten.      Time, love and patience will heal the scars and the memories of the abuse will fade. The future can be a bright one for Little Roberto. As people show him the Love of Christ his little life will be turned around.        Jesus said Suffer the little children to come unto me.” What do you say?
