Text Box:
Stephany Josselin Lopez Nuñez
Stephany came to the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in October of 1999. She was born January 22, 1997. Stephany lives here with her older brothers Alex and Elvin.
Stephany is a very shy little girl that minds very well and never causes problems for anyone. She plays very well with the other children or quietly by herself. When she first came here she was so withdrawn and never smiled. Now she is more outgoing and always ready to give a big hug and beautiful smile.
Stephany came from a very abusive home. Her mother was very mean to them and beat her children severely. Her grandmother and aunt presented their case to the courts to have them removed from her home. Because of their involvement, the mother severely beat Stephany's older brother Alex. He had to be hospitalized for the multiple wounds that covered his body. That same day an order for the arrest of the mother was sent out and she was arrested and put in jail for a short time.
When Stephany first came to us she was a very frightened and withdrawn child. Now she is in school and doing very well. She is more outgoing and talkative. She is a joy to her teachers and the workers in her cottage. She has come out so much and does not have the fear she once had.
Stephany still needs your help not only in prayer but also financially. For just $25 per month, you can help supply the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care she needs.
Can Stephany count on you to help provide the necessities for her to have a happy and meaningful life?
