Wendy Carolina Macedo Roque
Wendy came to live at the Good Shepherd Children’s Home in August of 2001. She was born June 10, 1995.
Wendy is such a sweet girl. She thinks everything is funny and laughs all the time. She is very prissy and loves to play dress up and with baby dolls. She is doing very well in school and loves to learn.
A neighbor went to the police and claimed that, Wendy, was being abused by her father. She was taken away from him until she could be checked out medically. The results came back negative, so she was returned to him. A year later the police were called to Wendy’s home again and the father was accused of the same abuse. Again the results were negative. In the interview with Wendy she told them that her father was not touching her in anyway.
When the police tried to notify Wendy’s father he was not to be found. No one knows where he went but it appears he left without a word to anyone. Since he has not come forward to talk with the police and Wendy’s mother abandoned them years ago, Wendy has nowhere to go except here. She has no other family willing to take care of her. No one has ever come to visit her here.
Wendy still needs your help not only in prayer but also in financial support. For just $25 per month, you can help supply the food, shelter, clothing, education, medical and dental care she needs. Can Wendy count on you to help provide the necessities for her to have a happy and meaningful life?
