| THE SHEPHERD’S JOURNAL… May. 18, 2010 |
Hola Dear Friends,
Little children and youth all over the world live feeling there is no love and there is no hope. God has sent us forth to show them that satan is a lair and there is Hope and there is Love! And His Name is Jesus! In His Name we gladly serve…………….. For His Glory, Greg & Eva |
Early Return to the USA… This year we have planned to return to the USA early for several reasons. Health of our parents, staggering dates with new missionaries to have someone onsite to run things and finances all play a part in the change from our usual fall speaking and rest time.
We plan to return but we are not sure of the dates yet. However if your church, Sunday School class , group or organization feels they may be interested in helping us then we would be happy to come and share. I am beginning to set dates for Oct and Nov so if you are interested please contact us. We would love to give you the opportunity to hear more about the work God called us to begin 15 years ago. God has blessed each of us in different ways and He tells us to give of our first fruits with great joy and thanksgiving.
You can contact me at gregvaughn@thegsch.org to make arrangements. Please pray that God will allow us to share where He has prepared others to partner with us in His work here. There are great needs to be met but our God is Able to meet every need!

God always has a plan… Being missionaries in a third world country we see a lot of things that tug on your heart. It is a common thing to see hungry children begging on street corners or pick up the paper to read of babies being found in dumpsters or abandoned in places where someone can find them.
In times like this anger can well up and erupt toward those who neglected or abused the little child but ministry does not begin or stop with the child. Ministering the gospel has no age limit and those who made mistakes need to know God’s grace, love and forgiveness just as much as the child who was affected.
Here at GSCH we take time to minister to the family of the children we are taking care of. The second Saturday of the month parents and family arrive anxious to spend time with their children. Many have found that God even used their own child to lead the way and show forgiveness. What a blessing to see children abused and battered learn to forgive and even lead their abuser to Jesus feet. It doesn’t get any better then that.
Lord, Help us Love and Forgive those who have wronged us and been unfair, Just as you loved and forgave from the cross, help us to Love the unloved and help them find your perfect unconditional Love. Amen!!
Oh God’s plan… Love unconditionally as He loved and let the world see that Love comes from Him. |
