1.  Average number of children killed in Honduras is 549 averages appproximately 45.75 each month.

      Over 10 children per week.

2. Of these killings 80% are unsolved. No one brought to justice.

3. The capital city of Honduras, Tegucigalpa, alone has over 6000 street children.

4. More then 100,000 children make daily visits to the city dumping areas in search

     of food or items to sell.

5. A large percentage of the street children inhale glue to ease hunger pains and

     escape the reality of their poverty.

6. More then 60% of the population of Honduras live in extreme poverty. Their daily task is to find enough food and water

     to stay alive.
