THE GOOD SHEPHERD
CHRISTIAN ACADEMY hosted an ICTHUS training class
March 28-29, 2009. The training course consists of 20 hours
of intensive study of the ICTHUS Bible Program. We had the
six instructors, five from Good Shepherd, and eleven from
various churches in the capital city spend the night in the
classrooms of the school to attend the two-day training course.
Along with the Bible Study, Games, and Crafts, which most
programs that focus on children have, a primary goal of ICHTUS
is evangelism. The training course covered some of the games,
and crafts of the program, but focused intensely
on instruction in presenting the Gospel to children and youth.
The Good Shepherd
Christian Academy will be using the ICTHUS program this year...
we are already praying for those the Lord will draw to Himself.
